Our warning alarms are specifically designed to mitigate the risk of reversing collisions, one of the biggest causes of fatal workplace injuries in the UK. When a commercial vehicle shifts into reverse, the alarm produces a clearly audible warning to alert everyone in the vicinity, including passers-by, nearby staff or visitors, and any vulnerable road users. Talking alarms use spoken warnings, while others utilise a sound broadcast a set frequency.

Soundwave talking alarms reproduce real speech with a clear, unambiguous audible message to warn everyone in the vicinity that a commercial vehicle or HGV is reversing.

White Noise Alarm

This white noise alarm is a multi-frequency alarm specifically designed to provide clear warning of reversing vehicles in environments with high levels of noise pollution, typically created by back up alarms in confined or densely populated work areas.

It does this by emitting sound at multiple frequencies within a narrow band attenuated above 4000Hz, so that the sound energy is directed more precisely towards the rear of the vehicle, and dissipates quicker than a conventional tonal alarm. This way, it’s able to maintain an effective warning signal for surrounding pedestrians while minimising disturbance to work site neighbours and residents.
