Vision Techniques installs safety equipment on UK’s first EV Skip Transporters
Waste recycling specialist Recycling Lives is using Vision Techniques’ market-leading safety equipment on their new electric skip transporter trucks.
The two 19-tonne E-Tech DZE trucks were designed and developed in collaboration with Renault Trucks and mark the start of Recycling Lives’ journey in decarbonising the company’s entire fleet.
The Renault Trucks E-Tech DZE have been fitted with Vision Techniques’ industry-leading Turnaware, Turnalarm, video recording systems and telematics. The all-electric vehicles will be used in daily operations, servicing commercial and household clients.
Eddie Hollingsworth, Head of Transport Operations at Recycling Lives, said:
