Clackmannanshire Council partners with Vision Techniques to deliver safer fleet
Blackburn-based Vision Techniques has completed a project with Clackmannanshire Council that sees the company provide a full suite of road safety systems for the Council’s latest DAF gully tanker.
Vision Techniques is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of safety systems for vehicles, and this is the first project it has delivered for Clackmannanshire Council.
The gully tanker, a specialist vehicle designed to remove debris, waste or mud, will benefit from the Vision Technique’s complete safety package, including its Elite Camera System, Auto Braking Radar, Stopsafe System, Cycle Detection System, and Turnalarm, all of which are designed and manufactured in the UK.
Marshall Fleming of Vision Techniques said: “We’re constantly designing and manufacturing new products that help our clients deliver vehicles that enhance public safety.
“Our public sector clients are particularly committed to making sure their vehicles use the best technology that prevents accidents, and we’re privileged to partner with Clackmannanshire Council on hopefully the first of many projects.”
Also involved in the project were Motus Commercials, suppliers of DAF vehicles and Whale Tankers.
