After breaking records in 2017, the company looks to continue its expansion by appointing experienced sales manager Lee Taylor. To compliment the current team, Lee’s experience, drive and desire to be part of a successful team will help Vision Techniques become the market leader in vehicle safety for quarrying and construction. Lee has been tasked with developing long relationships with new and existing major players in the market.
“It is fantastic to have Lee here at Vision Techniques and we look forward to becoming more focussed on the quarry and construction industry. We have set ourselves an ambitious target within the industry this year, and are confident we can achieve it,” said Steve Hurd, National Sales Manager at Vision Techniques.
Quarrying is one of the most dangerous industries to work in, with over 3500 injuries since 2000, of these, 31 incidents were fatal.
“Vehicles in the construction industry are much more diverse than other industries and, as a result, more urgently require safety systems on them to improve visibility and safety around the vehicle.” Lee commented.
Vision Techniques provide many industry standard systems such as CCTV, DVRs, security and braking systems. The company is known for creating some of the most innovative safety systems on the market, which received many prestigious accolades for innovation including a Motor Transport Award.
