The range of safety systems offered by Vision Techniques have been given certification to be installed to vehicles in Australasia, with LSM Technologies being the safety company’s partner for distribution in Australasia.
Vision Techniques have been working closely with LSM Technologies, to move their safety innovations into Australasia. The initial expansion started with the VT BrakeSafe automatic handbrake system following incidents occurring revealing a need for this type of safety system.
This then led to introducing Australasia to VT IDent, VT Banksman and more of the safety innovations offered by Vision Techniques. The Blackburn based safety company created a relationship with LSM Technologies and after discussions have signed a distribution agreement for them to service Australasia.
Steve Hurd, Sales Director at Vision Techniques, commented saying, “LSM was the perfect fit for an Australasian partner as they had the same aspirations as we do at Vision Techniques, they want to save lives and remove issues that involve vehicles.”
Vision Techniques patented Vehicle Safety Systems have been reviewed and certified for the Australian On-road Vehicles. The VT Technologies Safety Systems out-perform any other similar systems in the international market and with the integration into LSM Technologies Fleet Safety Management (FSM) Telematics platform provides enhanced Safety for Operators & the Public, Vehicle Damage Control and Productivity / Scheduling.
“Vision Techniques have undoubtedly created some ground-breaking safety innovations and we are looking forward to having a close relationship with them,” said Peter Woodford, Engineering/ Managing Director at LSM.
Following these certifications, Vision Techniques and LSM will be working with a number of waste and construction companies to roll out these safety products.
