VT Overview™ All Round Vision System

What is VT Overview™?

Have 100% clear vision around your vehicle with the state-of-art VT Overview™ system.

Designed for slow speed truck or bus manoeuvring in any direction, the system uses four cameras to give the driver a complete 360º view around the vehicle.

Amazingly, VT Overview™ will also pre-warn the driver with an audible alarm if a car, cyclist or pedestrian enters a danger blind spot on either side of the vehicle.

An alarm will prompt the driver to check the high definition picture to see the danger.

Ideal for vehicles working in built-up areas, this unique, state-of-the-art safety system is an entirely new concept for all-round 360º vision.

It is an absolute must for vehicles used for high street delivery, operating in congested traffic or on bus routes when lane changes and turning is necessary.

The innovative system is the most comprehensive “overview” any driver can have for the safe manoeuvring of their vehicle.

Using infrared camera technology, the system can be used both in the day and at night.

Quarrying and Mining

Meeting 1m x 1m vision but removing the need for multiple convex mirrors, VT Overview™ captures the whole vehicle’s perimeter and operating area in just one single monitor image.

The driver’s awareness of his surroundings and potential danger is dramatically improved.

Passenger Transport

There is a heightened risk of collision while inner city driving. Overview™ gives the driver an uninterrupted visual around the vehicle area, assisting significantly in the prevention of accidents.

Road Transportation

There is an increased need for large vehicles to manoeuvre around city centres, carrying out multiple drops.

If a cyclist is inside the turning circle of a vehicle, intelligent cameras warn the driver with an audible alarm. A glance at the monitor will show the cyclist in the danger zone.

VT Overview™ uses four cameras to give the driver a complete view around a truck or bus, day or night.

The system, designed for slow speed manoeuvring in any direction, also employs alarms for each side camera to warn the driver if a car, cyclist or pedestrian enters the danger blind spot on either side of the vehicle.

Incorporating Intelligent Scene Analysis, VT Overview™ also has a refined detection system. When a vehicle indicates left or right, Video Motion will trigger an audible warning if a danger encroaches from the rear whilst recognition of non-risk obstacles prevents unnecessary false alarms.

The Overview™ system will allow a driver to see a 3m vehicle radius from just one screen, the monitored area is defined when the unit is installed and remains constant at all times. If required, an extended coverage area can be specified on request, as applicable on larger vehicles.
