How does it work?

On system activation, the lens is cleaned with the jet wash and then wiped with the built in wiper strip on the protective shutter.

This removes more persistent dirt and foreign matter from the lens, such as winter salt spray.

To wash and clean the lens, the driver simply pushes a dashboard mounted activation button.
