Multinational waste management company dramatically improves safety and security with Vision Techniques systems
One of the UK’s leading waste management firms has seen a huge increase in vehicle safety since installing Vision Techniques’ products.
As with all waste management companies, health and safety is one of its main priorities.

This focus is seeing continual improvements in safety performance across the business: one area being vehicle and operative safety.
As part of its focus on safety in and around vehicles, the company turned to innovative vehicle safety specialist Vision Techniques to help improve its operation.
For over fifteen years, the company has been using Vision Techniques products with a steady increase in vehicle safety improvements.
Hundreds of its waste management vehicles are fitted with innovative products such as Zone Safe II, Banksman Radar, special audio reversing alarms and general reversing camera and specialist equipment.
After testing, the company has recently put in a request for Vision Techniques latest vehicle safety and security innovation VT Live to be fitted to its vehicles.
VT-Live is the very latest mobile multi-camera video recording system allowing vehicle operatives to be protected, defended, tracked and trained.
Designed for vehicles in any industry, this revolutionary recording system streams live video footage from vehicle-mounted cameras back to base, or to any location, using VT-Live’s built-in remote connectivity.
The results are tangible - the technology and safety systems provided by Vision Techniques have helped the multinational waste management company to further reduce incidents and protect assets.
A spokesman for the company said: “The systems installed by Vision Techniques’ have helped us to improve the safety of our vehicles and the safety of the people not only working at our sites but anywhere our vehicles are operating.
