Posted on 13th Mar, 2015 by Dominic Benabda

Vehicle experts Vision Techniques were invited to the Lincoln Waste Forum held at Lincoln City Football grounds this week to demonstrate and present their complete product range, including recording systems , cyclist safety products and auto-braking radars to councils from the surrounding area as part of their waste forum events.

The sun-filled Wednesday morning brought a wealth of engaged safety, operation and fleet managers from local councils including North East Lincolnshire, East and West Lindsay council, North Kesteven, South Holland and Lincoln City council. The event was hosted by Cory Environmental, with refuse and recycling manager Rob Waby hosting the event and key speakers including Cory Environment’s Nicola Peak and Chris Jones, Chairman of WISH (Waste Industry safety and health forum).

Vision Techniques Business Development Manager Andrew Kelly and Sales Manager Steve Perrin presented multiple safety systems to the attendees, including VT Live; the 360° live streaming recording system, VT Ident; a RFID vehicle control system, VT Banksman; an automatic braking radar system and VT TurnSafe – their range of cyclist safety products.

“Attending waste events like these are essential for us. It gives us a perfect opportunity to showcase our technology whilst gathering feedback from what our customers need to improve their vehicle safety. We really appreciate when our customers invite us to sessions like these and the timing was perfect to introduce our brand new show vehicle.”

The VT demonstration vehicle was recently finished and incorporates all of Vision Techniques’ products in a comfortable and attractive environment and is full of interactivity and technology.

Vision Techniques plan to travel across the UK with their new vehicle this year, attending exhibition events and visiting customers to showcase their latest systems and brief their customers with current industry related issues.
