Using wireless reversing cameras

Wireless reversing camera systems are usually used for very specific specialist cameras, such as forklift truck cameras.

These kinds of reversing cameras work very well in short distances in electrically ‘quiet’ environments but are not quite as effective well on electrically ‘noisy’ environments such as motorhomes, cars and trucks.

When wireless reversing cameras such vehicles, they could suffer from radio interference – making the picture lower quality. Wireless reversing cameras require power to the monitor and camera. That means cables have to go to the transmitter at the reversing camera.

This eliminates the possibility of wireless reversing cameras for your motorhome seem far less viable, as it seems a bit pointless having a wireless reversing camera system in the first place if cables need to be run anyway.

These types of vehicles, therefore, may need wired ones.
