Vision Techniques are officially launching their failsafe handbraking system at RWM this year which automatically applies the brake if a driver forgets when leaving the vehicle.
Live on OWL stand 5Y130-ZZ13 at RWM, Vision Techniques will be demonstrating the failsafe braking system – the first of its kind in the industry to automatically apply the brake if the driver attempts to leave the vehicle – effectively preventing any risk of vehicle runaway.
The system has been developed in-house by technical manager Nigel Armstrong, who has been developing the system for the past six months.
“After various incidents seen in the news and online and with feedback from some of our biggest customers we knew the market needed a system that would prevent rollaway without driver interaction – after a lot of testing we’ve been able to create something really unique to the industry.”
VT BrakeSafe had its first prototype installed at Craven Council recently where their fleet manager quickly saw the failsafe systems potential.
The one-of-a-kind product will be shown at this years’ RWM exhbition at the NEC and will be available for free trials later in the year. For more information on BrakeSafe please call us on 01254 679717 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
