March proved to be an exciting month for Vision Techniques, made even better by the AEBI Schmidt UK Annual Conference and Gala Dinner.
Held at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, on 24th March, the event educated attendees on its industry leading product range and Total Lifetime Care ethos.
During the event we got to see a full range of Schmidt equipment, including the much talked about Towed-Jet Sweeper, the Compact Jet Sweepers and the Supra 5002, which clears 5,000 tonnes of snow an hour.
We were also able to attend a number of fabulous presentations, covering topics including the evolution of the Euro 6 model and an overview of the newly revised Appendix H guidance – forming part of Well Maintained Highways.
Educating attendees with top VT products
What made the day extra special for us here at Vision Techniques, was our involvement during the main event.
We were able to demonstrate our brand new show vehicle as well as new products including the VT TurnSign, TurnAlarm and our flagship product VT Live. In fact, VT TurnSign was even demonstrated in conjunction with a Aebi Schmidt vehicle – the Euro 6.
When we weren’t keeping attendees busy with our most popular products, we held a brand new visual, interactive demo of our iDent products, built for safeguarding vehicles.
Vision Techniques were also active in the presentation arena with a seminar on cyclist safety, CLOCS and FORS – explaining just how it impacts business customers.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme and Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety report have both had a huge impact on our product range and our development.
It’s led to us designing even more equipment to improve vehicle safety, via safety mechanisms like VT Turnalarm, VT Turnsafe and VT Turnsign.
Products like these help to ensure safer vehicles and also highlight the importance of improving the design of construction vehicles right from the start.
Keeping up to date with innovation and technology
Attending the event was great to help keep us abreast of new developments. Sponsored by the CIWM (The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management), we were able to attend CPD accredited workshops, further enhancing the credibility and expertise of the Vision Techniques team.
The event was also the official launch of the Clean Britain Awards, recognising excellence and best practice in street cleansing and local environmental quality.
About the event, David Tucker, Sales Manager at Vision Techniques says:
“We are overwhelmed by how professional the show that AEBI Schmidt held was, as well as the opportunities to speak to businesses that we may never have been able to.”
