The Ogden VMS Intelligent Radar with Auto Braking, in conjuction with a Vision Techniques rear vision system is the ultimate in vehicle reversing safety systems.
It operates by having user defined protection zones at the rear of the vehicle. Should any obstruction at the rear of the vehicle enter any of the zones – then a warning is given to the driver that they should be aware of the potential danger. Should the driver then choose to ignore these warnings and the obstruction become an imminent danger due to its close proximity, the brakes will automatically apply – stopping the machine, before an accident can occur.
The Ogden’s VMS Vision System also combines the latest in colour reversing safety systems – the VT68EM/IR. This will activate if any of the zones are breached, affording the driver a clear visual verification of the potential danger.
